To facilitate passenger traffic, a lift has been installed to provide rapid connection between the platform level of the Ferrovie del Nord Barese and that of the Ferrovie Appulo Lucane at Bari Centrale station, allowing station access directly from street level. The lift is available on all weekdays from 05:00 to 24:00. This facility also allows for easy and independent transit for individuals with reduced or impaired mobility.
Additionally, since 2019, Bari Centrale station has further improved accessibility for differently-abled travellers. It is accessible every day of the week via the “Giallo” underpass for those approaching from the Bari Centrale station of RFI or via Giuseppe Capruzzi.
