"This railway link, the work challenging for infrastructure and technology funded with 81 million euro from EU and national funds, - said the director of Ferrotramviaria, Massimo Nitti - is a railway link (7.7 km away, approximately) on the current route Bari-Barletta, whose potential goes beyond the same service.". "This realization work, that improves quality of the links between north and south of Bari and creates intermodality and interoperability with other train operators of TPL (Local public transport), opens minds - said the Transport Department of Regione Puglia, Mr. Giannini - about the use of a single ticket for travel by all means rail in the region, an idea on which Regione Puglia will continue to work to regulate the local transport.".
