UNITY MAKES STRENGTH AND INTEGRATION

With the ticket of Bari-Barletta railway, is possible to travel free also on public and local transport of Andria and Barletta.

"Unity makes strength": Ferrotramviaria - Ferrovie del Nord Barese was inspired by this old popular adage, about the agreement signed with ASA - Autolinee Servizi Andriesi and Scoppio Srl, the two companies that manage local public transport services respectively in Andria and Barletta.

Details were presented this morning at a press conference held at the City of Andria, at the presence of the Manager at transport of Puglia Region, Giovanni Giannini; the President of the Transport Commission of the Region, Filippo Caracciolo; Mayors of Andria, Nicola Giorgino, and Barletta, Pasquale Cascella; the General Director of Ferrotramviaria, Massimo Nitti, and Michele Sabato representing the local public transport companies.

The customers of railway Ferrotramviaria - Ferrovie del Nord Barese holding a travel ticket valid on arrival or departure from Andria or Barletta, they can travel free on public transport of the ASA - Autolinee Servizi Urbani Andriesi and of Scoppio - Servizi Urbani di Barletta. The continuation of the journey, of course, must be in the range of validity of the ticket or subscription. The agreement, strongly desired by Ferrotramviaria who took charge of the relevant charges, came effective last January 1, 2015.

The service is a further example of intermodal transport through optimal integration of the system bus/railway.
